Yup! You got that right! Instead of the HTC One M9, Malaysia will be getting the M9+ instead! With an all-metal unibody design, and 5.2-inch 2K display, HTC One M9+ has combined new innovative designs and enhancements to give you a whole new user experience.
The M9+ melds the best of the One M7 and the One M8, giving you a more graceful curved design. The body comes in dual-toned silver and rose gold finish, with hairline brushed silver back and polished gold sides. Although it is of unibody design, HTC offers 3GB RAM, 32GB on-board storage, and expandable memory up to 2TB via microSD storage.
HTC has also improved the One M9+ camera. With its Duo Camera, you can take professional looking shots using its improved depth sensor. Other unique camera features include Copy & Paste that lets you paste a person from one photo to another, Dimension Plus that allows you to shoot at unique angles, as well as an in-build photo editing function to edit your photos on the fly.
The main camera of the HTC One M9+ is 20MP that shoots well in low-light, and fitted with sapphire glass lens to protect it from scratches. Its front camera sports the improved HTC UltraPixel technology that allows you to shoot dynamic auto-exposure in any lighting conditions. Shooting videos is also fun and exhilarating since you can now shoot in 4K resolution.
The audio for the One M9+ also shows improvement by combining HTC BoomSound and Dolby Audio surround sound, giving you the perfect sound when watching movies using the M9+ front facing speakers.
One of the most attractive accessory that is compatible with the HTC One M9+ is the second-generation Dot View, in which case now comes with clear back casing so you won’t have to hide the sleek metal back of your phone. The new HTC Dot View case won’t even get in the way of your favourite apps such as Instagram and Whatsapp with through-the-case notifications what alerts you on the latest photos, message, updates and check-ins.
HTC One M9+ will be available in Malaysia in Gold and Silver, and Gunmetal Gray from early May onwards, while the Gold on Gold will be available later this year.
